FAQ

WHAT DO I WEAR & HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST CLASS?

I recommend form fitting athletic wear so our instructors can see your form. I do not require grip socks but feel free to bring your own if you prefer to wear them, otherwise barefoot. 

Bring a water & towel. 

Arrive 10 minutes before class so we can go over anything you need me to know about your body.

CAN I ATTEND AS A BEGINNER?

If you are brand new to pilates or not sure where to begin, i recommend Foundation's group class or a private session to get you familiar with the principles and PRE-pilates. I also love to offer modifications and challenges for each exercise so you can customize any workout to your needs and experience level.

IS PILATES SAFE DURING PREGNANCY?

Yes, Pilates can be safe during pregnancy when practiced under proper guidance. However, due to liability reasons, I do not personally offer instruction to clients who are pregnant.

WHERE DO THE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

The location varies depending on the season. during warmer months, i love to hold sessions outdoors in parks. I also offer in-home visits for private classes or parties. For personal training, sessions can also take place at my public gym in Lenox Village, Nashville.
